The Shrimp Buñuelos
The buñuelos were brought to Spain by Muslim people, and Spaniards brought them to Latin America. While Spain and various Latin America countries use flour in their recipes, Nicaragua uses yucca and cheese for theirs. For most Nicaraguans, buñuelos are a sweet dessert.
