The Raspados
The raspado is a cold refreshment made of shaved ice and fruit or dairy syrup. It is sold in Nicaragua along the the Pacific zoned cities. MayoKechu is offering this refreshing dessert in a myriad of flavors: caramel, coconut, guava, pineapple, & tamarind. Each of these flavors can be had by itself or mixed with pound cake. THe mixed version of the raspado is called ‘relleno’.
